Description

Robert Burch

Currently the trains to Purley Oaks and Sanderstead from London Bridge in the evening rush hour leave almost at the same time. If they had departures every 15 minutes instead of two at quarter past and quarter to, it would be of benefit to commuters to South Croydon, Purley Oaks and Sanderstead.

Here is the letter that Robert Burch wrote.

Synchronising services to Sanderstead and Purley Oaks in the evenings from London Bridge

During the evening rush hour, trains from London Bridge via East Croydon to Purley Oaks and Sanderstead leave within less than five minutes of each other. This means that for commuters to South Croydon, Sanderstead and Purley Oaks there is only one direct service every half hour.
If you staggered the departures so that they were 15 minutes apart it would provide a better service and possibly improve the load capacity.

    Hi Robert,

I think this is a pretty positive response from Southern. But I reckon they'll consider your idea much more seriously if you can get a bunch of other people to add their names to your page. Have you any thoughts about how you might get some other passengers to sign up?
