    Just walked the path yesterday and noticed the weeds had been cut back.

    I'd also noticed that some cutting has happened, but there are still a lot of big ones and several still encroaching on the path. I don't think it would be long before they start significantly blocking it again. I guess I should just wait for that to happen and complain again if so - perhaps they will do something about them regularly now.
