“Please help me persuade Warrington Borough Council to fix services at back of market” – steven woods

Description

steven woods

To many services at this stop cause me to miss my bus more than once I am not alone with this problem. Recently all incoming and outgoing services were re-located to service one stop at the back of the market rather than across three stops as previously serviced for decades. the buses coming into town flood this stop so when my service comes around the corner the driver cannot see me and drives right past. I have seen this happen on frequent occasions throughout the day and have myself missed my bus twice.

Yes, the council thinks this is an improvement as they want to make the market more attractive by having one bus stop near the lift access - and offering free rides back to the Interchange on incoming buses.

At the very least, the outbound Manchester Road services should be put back to the empty layby/bus shelter outside Time Square - though I've often thought it would be a much quicker journey home from the interchange if they operated direct via Scotland Road via new bus stops outside New Town House.

Still same problem occuring, when will the council learn that you can lead a horse to water but can't force it to drink. The market is dead now stop forcing people to disembark away from their intended destination and let them get off at bridge street.
