Regularly when it rains the footpath leading to/from the station by Sandown racecourse is prone to flooding.
On many occasions i have had to tip toe my way through the puddles that cover the entire footpath, regularly getting wet feet in the process. The water runs down the embankement of the raised tracks and onto the path but there is no means for the water to escape.
A quite simple solution would be to dig out a trench along the side of the affected area of footpath.
I understand that there is an alternative route into the station but is not always feasible when there is only minutes left until the train arrives.
