Dear Sir,

I'm writing to report a couple of issues that have arisen recently at Highams Park Station.

Firstly, one of the lights on the footbridge has gone out, causing a very dark staircase and walkway, particularly with the darker evenings upon us.

Secondly, the PA system at the station is quite often inaudible, not due to the volume level but because the message is either full of static or simply garbled. This is very frustrating when delays are ongoing as the electronic boards do not provide sufficient information.

I hope these issues can be resolved as quickly as possible.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Thank you for your recent email regarding the lighting and PA
    announcements at Highams Park station.

    I was sorry to learn that one of the lights over the footbridge
    has recently gone out. I appreciate that this is making the
    station footbridge very dark at night and I would like to offer
    my sincere apologies.

    Please note, I have now passed all your comments regarding the
    lighting and the PA announcements on to the responsible station
    manager, who I trust will review these problems and take the
    appropriate action.
