“Please help me persuade ScotRail to fix this: Bridge across the line” – Alexander. G. Heggie

Description

Alexander. G. Heggie

We need a footbridge across the line, as its a very long walk from one side to the other for older people or people like me with a disability which restricts my walking to 30 yards, we are continually ignored on this problem, There used to be a footbridge across the line some time back but was taken down, as far as I know this is the only station with no bridge crossing.

    Hi Alexander,

We're aware of Scotrails' requests that users take their correspondence offline and we're hoping to open communication channels so that we can reach a solution to this.

In the meantime, please do keep us updated on any progress you make with this issue.

I made a mistake in saying the problem had been fixed, I got it mixed up with another problem I reported that one had been fixed, Sorry for the mistake, but the bridge has not been fixed. Sorry again for the mistake, Alexander. Heggie

Hi, just noticed your comment on lack of footbridge at uphall station and you certainly have our support for this as it should have been an automatic build given the distances are far too long from one side to the other for able bodied people never mind for people with disabilities of any sort, such as limited mobility.
Please keep us posted as to any progress with this urgent issue and if we can be of further assistance or support let us know.

    Best regards

    Michael Fisher for FJS Group
