“Please help me persuade Anglian Bus & Coach and Suffolk County Council to help Persuade Bus Companies to Stop at Beccles Hospital and Bus Station ” – Ted Landsler

Description

Ted Landsler

We here in Barnby and North Cove cannot get a bus that stops anywhere near Beccles Hospital or Medical Centre. Nor is there a bus that even goes near Beccles Railway Station. This makes life very difficult for older people.
Couldn't the occasional bus go near these much used places?

    Hello Ted,

Writing to the bus operator is a good idea. They may not be aware there is demand for the service you have requested.

It would also be a good idea to contact Suffolk County Council, as this seems to be a genuine social need that is not being met by existing commercially-operated services, and may require additional funding to make it possible. I have given you a link to SCC's online form where you can report the issue:

I have recently mentioned the problem to our MP Peter Aldous. Perhaps he will have better luck in getting something done.
