“Please help me persuade East Midlands Trains to increase capacity and provide new rolling stock norwich to liverpool ” – Dean Corbridge

Description

Dean Corbridge

Seems a common issue no aircon (again) on the class 158 service.Passengers sat in our reserved seats again.Upon boarding Interior lights kept going on and off the train was very noisy on departure and underpowered this clearly had a fault as this service was late into Manchester. The train was finally declared a failure on the approach to Chesterfield and passengers were advised to change at Nottingham if wishing to continue to stations served to Norwich due to the train having several faults.
I appreciate you cannot predict when a mechanical defect will occur however we were offered no update from the guard untill Chesterfield that their was a problem with the service we would have asked and raised our concerns however we did not have our tickets checked from Manchester To Chesterfield.
I would reiterate again that the rolling stock used on this long distance service are clearly passed their sell by date even with the latest investment,i have decided to go with transpennine in july from Sheffield as i will not give this service another chance.
Regards Mr D Corbridge

I travelled in that route from Norwich to Nottingham and back on March 22 and 25, 2013. Only three wagons for such a long a busy route, I believe it is unacceptable. You need to provide more seats for the passengers, otherwise it will be an expensive in price, but priceless in travelling.

    Kind regards
