“Please help me persuade Merseyrail to install vending machines at Bidston station” – Ross Jones

It is very easy to end up stranded at Bidston, and there is nowhere to get a coffee or a snack whilst you wait.

Maybe Merseyrail could install a couple of vending machines, or better yet a coffee machine for passengers while they wait for their connecting trains.

    There is a very real possibility that people end up at Bidston with a wait of more than an hour for a train to Wrexham. On the station there is nothing to eat, nothing to drink and no entertainment.

    Would it not be possible to install a vending machine for drinks and snacks?

    Hey Ross,

    I've taken the liberty of spreading your campaign round some local groups and forums in the hope that interested people will join your campaign. Let's hope we can drum up some interest. You could do the same if you're part of any online local community.

    I'm just sifting through some of the older issues on the site and I see you never received a reply about this from Merseryrail. Has there been any progress?

    Ross,
    I have just checked up with Merseyrail about progress with this issue and they have asked for you to contact them directly as described in the message below. We believe there is no good reason for an operator not to engage with its customers through the site but at the moment their policy is only to correspond directly. However please do come back and update FixMyTransport on any progress you've made.
