“Please help me persuade Cumbria County Council and Barrow-in-Furness Borough Council to provide a bus shelter outside Furness General Hospital” – Sheila iWlliams

Description

Sheila iWlliams

This stop is in an exposed position and open to the elements. It is no joke having to wait in the open in driving rain or snow. Surely passengers should be given some sort of protection.

It is the responsibility of Cumbria County Council to install any new bus shelters. Requests for a shelter in this position have been made over a number of years. New shelters are installed following consultation with residents and interested parties. Once in place, Barrow Borough Council takes over the repair of the shelter.
