I travel from Canterbury - Dover every evening five days a week there used to be two buses going between Canterbury and Dover one at 17.00 and one at 17.08, there is now only one bus at 17.11 this bus is constantly crowded with people standing along the whole coach I myself most weeks have stood every day for the past three weeks between Canterbury & Dover, which is at least 40 minutes. I find this completely unacceptable when i pay £19.50 to stand on an overcrowded bus, and most of the time right by the drivers booth as the bus is so busy.
it would make a huge difference if more than one bus was running particularly as the college and university is on this route, would it be so illogical to put on a bus at 16.30, 17.00, 17.30 and 18.00 to cover the overspill from the college, universtiy, the town and people communiting to and from work.
It has also transpired this week that two of the buses have broken down on route, causing further delays. I am extremely frustrated with this unpleasant journey please fix it.

Dear Elaine
Thank you for contacting us.
We have indeed withdrawn one of the two buses leaving Canterbury
after 5pm from route 15 and switched it to a new route number
12. New route number 12 provides a much faster service to
Whitfield, Walmer and Deal and has been very well received.
When we did this we thought that enough people would switch from
route 15 to route 12 to ensure everyone on the remaining
departure on route 15 had a seat. We came to this conclusion by
checking the number of people travelling to Walmer and Deal.
Since we introduced new route 12 the number of people travelling
has increased more quickly than we expected and it is clear that
we need to provide additional capacity on route 15 as well as
the new route 12. In the short term we will provide an
additional bus at 5.10pm on busy days, but we do expect to
upgrade route 15 as a whole.
