Hello,

Acpoa Connnect does not work. I have been trying to use it ever since the sudden, unexplained decision to change to them from RingGo (which worked well) last week. There are no indications of problems either on yours or Apcoa's websites. I have contacted Apcoa and not had any response so far.

I would be grateful if you could let me know what is going on and fix the problem. It is not always possible to obtain a paper ticket from the parking meter so leaving cars without any tickets, due to the fault of the Apcoa system. I trust that parking tickets will not be issued until this problem is sorted.

    "From Friday 1 June, APCOA are responsible for operating and maintaining all First Capital Connect car parks.

    We were expecting to run with our old supplier until 1st July but due to circumstances beyond our control this wasn't possible and we had to change immediately to APCOA.

    There have been issues with Pay and Display machines not accepting credit cards. Customers can pay by mobile using 'APCOA Connect' or any season ticket via the website.

    Credit card facilities on Pay and Display machines are expected to be fully functional across Multi Storey Car Parks by the weekend and across Pay and Display machines towards the end of next week."

    Thank you for your email of 7 June 2012 regarding the change from Ringo to APCOA. I am very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the new car park service provider.

    First Capital Connect would like to apologise to any of its car park users who have experienced any difficulties over the past week. We would also like to further apologise for the short notice we gave when the service changed.

    From Friday 1 June APCOA are now responsible for operating and maintaining all First Capital Connect car parks. This change of provider is part of our ongoing investment into our car park facilities and services. I appreciate that you may not feel that this is the case.

    We were expecting to run with our old supplier until 1st July but due to circumstances beyond our control this wasn't possible and we had to change immediately to APCOA. There shouldn't have been any reduction to our services with the handover and we are investigating what went wrong that morning.

    We aim to have any outstanding technical issues resolved over the coming days and look forward to providing excellent service with APCOA as we work to deliver improvement and further investment in our car park facilities.

    All feedback is used in our regular reports with senior management, which help us identify areas where our service can be improved and we are grateful that you took the time to contact us.

    Apcoa is finally working, well their telephone payment service. It's awful, still have had no response form my email to Apcoa of over a month ago. Ticket machine in car park is out of order again.
