What a lovely morning it is this morning. Sunshine. Blue sky. Heavens, I might even have to suggest that the barometer should be set to miniskirt weather but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Summer is canceled and the Met Office has said it (my compensation claim to them is still in process for failure to deliver this incredibly important season). However, let's ignore that point for the moment and return to the salient point is that it is sunny this morning, with blue sky and wispy clouds (hmmm Wispa chocolate bars, might need one for the emotional damage). And let's make it clearer. It was sunny over God's County (Yorkshire in case you don't know. If you think you know differently you are in denial and need some help). And lets get more specific, a specific part of Yorkshire called Garforth. Garforth Railway Station in fact.
So imagine my shock that in possible miniskirt weather at 0815 in the morning you still have the lights on across the car park and station at Garforth. I was blinded and dazzled by your negligence.
Let's not quibble. It is only 20 or so lights but having screwed another large percentage rise out of travellers again this year and delivered good returns to your two masters, it would be nice to think that you were doing everything possible to reduce the bills. After all, it would be disappointing to find out that you lost your franchise or got slapped up by the media again because someone or something is not knocking the lights off.
It doesn't take much. It's probably a timer or a sensor that has broken but it's about image. A little bit of care here and there makes all the difference to think that you guys are trying your best.
So if you wouldn't mind, please fix the lights at Garforth Railway Station. No one likes to see waste.
