Initial problem
the newly built station in Bathgate has been a great addition, but there are trains constantly blowing there horns during the night. As the weather has been warm over the last few day we have had our windows open and this morning at 5.20am there was excessive use of train horns which woke up my young daughter, I wouldnt mind it if was one every hour but this morning it was every few minutes there was some kind of horn noise.I feel sorry for the people who livve right next to the station I have shops and a golf course between me and the station and it is bad enough for us. I would have thought there would have been some kind of law to stop this excessive noise during the night, I look forward to hearing from you with a resolution to this problem.

Hello
I am one of the FixMyTransport Volunteers.
The use of horns is a safety check. Things like lights, horns and windscreen wipers are tested at the beginning of each day before the train enters services.
It appears that Scotrail are being lobbied effectively and I would urge that you consult the following people referred to in the article linked to below
