Initial problem

I was taking my 2 year old grandaughter to Battersea Park, I am a pensioner so had pushchair and rucksack plus 2 year old. There is a big gap at Queenstown Road so had difficulty getting pushchair off. Fortunately a passenger helped but guard although he must have seen me getting off backwards closed doors on pushchair. Scary. Also had to get down steep flight of stairs with pushchair in one hand, child in other hand, rucksack on back, as no one around to help. Same thing on way back. Not impressive, glad I am not in a wheelchair.

Out of interest, did you get an acknowledgement followed by a reply from South West Trains about this?

There is some information about station accessibility here which may be of interest:

Sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience.

    Best regards,

My biggest concern was that the guard closed the door on me whilst I was attempting to get a pushchair with child off. This problem was not even mentioned in the reply. I feel I have been brushed off just so you can tick the box.
