I have a comment about: Stations & destinations

I caught the 1905 Train from Waterloo from platform 9 (S/West Trains) on 15th Sept 2012. it was extremely overcrowded with people standing almost the entire journey The announcement in the carriage stated that this train stopped at various stations along the route as normal, including mine (Totton)..The journey was awful full of swearing football fans drinking etc. At no time was the guard present to do anything about the trouble that I could hear and see. All the isles were full of unhappy standing passengers. I noticed the train never stopped at Woking for some reason, even though it stated it would. It waited an extra long time at Basingstoke with no explanation. Although I noticed police on the platform that created even more noise from the football idiots.. The train continued eventually stopped at Southampton. The idiot football fans got off thankfully. The next stop being Totton. Guess what the train went straight pass Totton and stopped at Brockenhurst. Myself and 8 other passengers were very concerned. I approached the Station Manager (Mr Wilson) who suggested it was my fault and tried to fob me off. He told me I should wait 1. 1/2 hours for a Totton train. He changed his tune when 8 other arrived saying the same as me. I think the driver was trying to make up for lost time and just forgot himself. One passenger even spoke to driver. After a while Mr Wilson the Station Manger arranged taxi's to take us all back the 12 miles to our ticket destination. I myself missed a lift and had to walk 4 miles due to your drivers error. What are you going to do about it, I should like to know ? Still awaiting a reply with interest. Chris J Bowles

    Chris,

Out of interest, did you get an acknowledgement followed by a reply from South West Trains about this?

    Best regards,
