Initial problem

The roof of the Shelter for the Station (on the Guide Bridge to Piccadilly Station side) has a very leaky roof. When it rains you can watch the water pour down the inside walls and all over most of the seats - and sometimes people depending on how many are in there!

This problem still does not appear to be fixed.

I had a reply on the 6th Oct from Northern Rail, saying they would have their Contractors look at the site and do any necessary repairs.

I have sent a reply asking when this will happen.

    Hello Jacqui

I am one of the FixMyTransport volunteers

Keep chasing them and please keep us updated. I am also going to refer this issue to Cllr Doreen Dickinson who is Chair of the Metrolink and Rail Networks Sub Committee and based in Stalybridge. I will ask her to raise this with Northern Rail at the next meeting.

The next meeting of the mentioned committee is 14th December. It would be really appreciated if you could update Cllr Doreen Dickinson about the shelter in the week before on the email address on the following page.

    I hope this helps

    Kind regards
