Initial problem

The train stopped at Humphrey Park (a few minutes late). Myself, my husband and four other people were waiting to board the train. When the train pulled up, we could see it was busy, especially near the doors where people were congregating, but big gaps in the middle. The conductor immediately said 'you won't get on here, wait for the next one' We responded, there isn't another train for 2 hours. My husband eventually got in one carriage and I ran to get in the next one, when the train closed the doors with my husband on the train and with us 5 other passengers still left on the platform!! I had to get a taxi to catch up with my husband in Deansgate as were meeting some friends for dinner. As I am sure you are aware, there was a big Rugby Match on at 6pm at Old Trafford Football Ground, surely there should have been extra public transport, maybe extra carriages on trains to cater for the 70,000 fans and as the teams were Warrington, where this train came from. If the conductor told the passengers to move down the train, I am sure there would have been room for us. My husband said approx 60/70 people got off at the next stop, Trafford Park. Can you please look into this for me. It was most upsetting to be left stranded! The conductor appeared rather rude and unhelpful!! Thanks
