Initial problem
I get on the 5pm train daily to clitheroe from manchester. Each time there are 2 carriages and regularly people are left at the station due to severe overcrowding. Today for the 3rd time this month I have been unable to board the train at Salford crescent. Upsetting all the more as I have a toddler I don't see that day if this happens. Why on a very popular route during rush hour is the service run with 2 carriages. The kirkby train stops with 4 carriages and no standing passangers!
