Initial problem
Knutsford and Altrincham stations get passenger numbers which are higher than many stations with a more frequent service. Yet there have no improvements to off-peak services and despite rising passenger numbers peak services have been reduced to allow Virgin Trains to have more paths on the Stockport-Manchester section of the line.
