Initial problem

I buy a monthly ticket from York to Leeds and up until now have not had any problems. A few days ago my ticket stopped working at the barrier in Leeds. So when I got back to York I asked them to reissue my ticket. The man behind the desk said theres no point everyone has problems in Leeds, to which I asked him to do it anyway. Suprise suprise this morning my ticket didnt work at the barrier. What is going to be done about this? I cant afford to miss more evening trains because I have to wait for someone to manually let me through - which is an effort in itself.

Needs sorting!!!

    I understand that your issue concerns service at York but I also think that it would benefit from some input from Northern Rail who operate the barriers at Leeds. I will send your issue to them.
